I am always cold. Partly genetics, partly medical issues, it’s something that has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. (My kid is the opposite and would happily run around in a t-shirt in December.) So I’ve gotten good at staying warm. My top tips:
- Layers. Lots and lots of layers.
-
Super thick winter blankets and fleece sheets.
-
A bed warmer.
-
Scarves. ALL the scarves.
-
Cozy socks.
-
Kittens on my lap.
-
Fleece sweaters.
-
Fleece blankets scattered liberally throughout the house.
-
Tea. Biscuits. (The latter purely because yum.)
-
Cuddles, preferably from aforementioned tiny human.
Okay, that’s it for me, since I’m already a day late! Let me know if you run hot or cold, and if you run cold, what do you do to keep warm?

I am always cold, my husband is always warm. The battle for the thermostat is real.
Yep. I feel your pain! (Mostly because his side of the bed’s closer.)
