This description of it says: “The creature has the head of a fox, eagle’s talons for forelegs, the chest of a greyhound, the body of a lion, and the tail of a wolf… the enfield, being compounded of the fox, eagle, and wolf, indicated that he, by whom it was borne, was reputed to possess the subtlety and cunning of the first named beast; the magnanimity and fortitude, with the honour, labor, industry, and diligence, in great manners, of the eagle; and the fierceness of the wolf.”
I mostly like it because I’ve always wanted a pet fox. Though I imagine it’d be murder on the furniture.
What about you guys? Which creature did you choose this week? Have any of you heard of the Enfield before?

That’s such a cool creature! I’d never heard of it before
Thanks! I was pleased to find one that’s new to me and such a cool mix of different animals!
I had never heard of this, but I like the sound of it.
Me too! I was happy to come across it.
Enfields sound really cool. I’d never heard of them either.
I was pleased to discover them, because the typical mythical creatures didn’t really appeal to me!
