WEDNESDAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE | MY FAVOURITE FOOD

I feel like I did this topic last year. And I don’t think I had a great answer then either. I don’t have a specific favourite food, but I do like Christmas dinner as my family did it. Mostly for the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings because yum. But I also like it because you don’t make a Christmas dinner just for yourself, so there’s always a nice sit-down at the table meal with people you care about. My kid really got into it this year and we ended up doing it twice and it was such a fun experience.

But really, I mean who am I kidding? CHOCOLATE. ‘Nuff said.

What about you guys? Do you have one favourite food? One favourite dish? An ethnic cuisine that you really enjoy?

I get that. My mom loves frught and veggies, because that’s what she didn’t have enough of when she was growing up, so it’s what she grew to love. I think that’s fantastic – if you can love what’s healthy for you, what’s better than that??

I like food in all it’s manifestations. I’m a not-so-closeted anglophile so whenever I get a chance for some authentic British food, I’m over the moon. Several years ago there was an authentic pub not too far from where I live… I was in heaven.

Oooh me too! My parents are Brits, so I grew up on British food. We also had a British Pub when I was a kid and I loved the soda they had there – vimto, dandelion and burdock, irn bru… yum. I have certain favourites I will probably always have on hand!
