TOP TEN TUESDAY | MOST ANTICIPATED BOOKS FOR JAN-JUNE 2024

If I’m honest, I haven’t got any idea about books coming out this year. So I’ve had to do some quick and dirty Googling to find some for this week’s prompt! Here’s what I came up with.

No date announced yet:

February

March

April

June

Some of these I’m now quite excited about, others I’m mildly intrigued by. But hey, at least I’ve got something for this week’s post, right? For those of you who have a better handle on the publishing world, which books are you really excited to get your hands on in the first half of 2024? Are any of these on your list?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

This is the second list I’ve seen Rachel Cusk on and I’ve never heard of her before. Based on the wait for Heartstopper 5, I’m not holding my breath for the final instalment, but I’ll be there when it does arrive.

Cusk has written a few books- I think she’s best known for her Outline series, which was written in a way I haven’t experienced before and I found really interesting. Don’t know if I’ll get around to this one or not though! I haven’t read Heartstopper 5 yet, but I am going to soon. I didn’t want the series to be over, so didn’t want to read it until I knew there was another one on the way!

Yes! There’s no date on it yet, but hopefully sometime this year. I haven’t read any of his mythological books yet as I’m not really well versed in myths and I’m a bit intimidated. But maybe I’ll give the new one a try… Mostly I’m just a huge fan of Stephen Fry. I think he’s incredibly smart and I admire his willingness to discuss things like mental health – I think it’s so important that he has. So I will always want to share his work!
