If I’m honest, I haven’t got any idea about books coming out this year. So I’ve had to do some quick and dirty Googling to find some for this week’s prompt! Here’s what I came up with.
Some of these I’m now quite excited about, others I’m mildly intrigued by. But hey, at least I’ve got something for this week’s post, right? For those of you who have a better handle on the publishing world, which books are you really excited to get your hands on in the first half of 2024? Are any of these on your list?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
After devouring Heartstopper last year, I am eagerly awaiting volume 6. Though I’m also sad that it will be the last one. Happy Reading!

I only just found out 6 will be the last! I’ve been saving 5 because I like having one to look forward to. I guess I can read that one now – but what shall I do with 6????
Hannah’s new book sounds excellent. I’m excited to read it too. I hope you enjoy all these if/when you get to them!
Happy TTT!

I have yet to read any of her books – but who knows! This might be the one! 😉 Thank you!
I’ve heard Hannah’s book is really good. I hope you love it!
Oooh excellent! I’ve been seeing it around a lot!
Interesting list of upcoming releases. I haven’t heard of any of these. I hope you enjoy them.
I hadn’t either until right before I wrote this! Ha! Thanks!
I’m terrible at keeping up with new releases too! Fortunately, my fellow reviewer at Long and Short Reviews is better at it!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Oh that’s lucky! I used to keep up better, but, you know… life! I hope you get a chance to enjoy some great books (new or old) this year!
I never know these days what is coming soon until I hear other bloggers talking. Thanks for sharing what looks interesting to you.
Hahaha yes, I am exactly the same. I had no idea about any of these until this week either! It’s kind of nice, though, because then you get some lovely surprises! 😉
This is the second list I’ve seen Rachel Cusk on and I’ve never heard of her before. Based on the wait for Heartstopper 5, I’m not holding my breath for the final instalment, but I’ll be there when it does arrive.
Cusk has written a few books- I think she’s best known for her Outline series, which was written in a way I haven’t experienced before and I found really interesting. Don’t know if I’ll get around to this one or not though! I haven’t read Heartstopper 5 yet, but I am going to soon. I didn’t want the series to be over, so didn’t want to read it until I knew there was another one on the way!
Ooooh! I didn’t realize Stephen Fry’s new book was so close to release. I still need to read “HEROES”, though. My list is here. 🙂
Yes! There’s no date on it yet, but hopefully sometime this year. I haven’t read any of his mythological books yet as I’m not really well versed in myths and I’m a bit intimidated. But maybe I’ll give the new one a try… Mostly I’m just a huge fan of Stephen Fry. I think he’s incredibly smart and I admire his willingness to discuss things like mental health – I think it’s so important that he has. So I will always want to share his work!
