WEDNESDAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE | SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT GUESS ABOUT ME

There are a few obvious answers to this. If you just met me and didn’t know me or read my blog, you might not know that I have several highly complicated and debilitating medical issues. None of them are visible. You might not know that I am neurodivergent or that I’ve had mental health issues. But on a less obvious level, if all you knew was that I’m a stay at home mum, you might not know that I run this book blog or even that I read so much. You might not know that I have a degree and that I love engaging in discussions about social issues and human behaviour. You might not know that I went to boarding school. You also might not know that I grew up learning how to do various random things like garden, sew, knit, bake, do random home repairs and chop wood. Or that I once spent a summer disassembling, cleaning and reassembling a motorcycle. I like that my life has been quite varied, as most people’s have, and that I’m not just one thing. I don’t think anyone is, and I love finding out the hidden truth about people’s interests, skills and experiences. So I don’t have one big shocking thing, but I think I’ve got a few layers, and I like finding people I can connect with on any of those levels!

What about you guys? Did you come up with a better answer this week, or did you have a similar response to me?

Thanks! I went to boarding school by choice, and it was a co-ed not at all fancy one. So it was not at all how boarding schools are in books! I liked it, it was a lot of fun to live in a dorm and I needed some space from my family at the time. It was an international school, so I also made some wonderful friends from all over the world!
