Well, I don’t really believe in ghosts. I don’t think. Like I believe in creepy feelings and a sense of “something bad happened here” or “something bad could happen here.” So I guess you could say I believe in vibes. But actual ghosts? I don’t think so? But, if we take that out of the equation and assume there were ghosts, and you’re asking me if I’d stay in a house I knew to be haunted…. I’m gonna, very surprisingly I’m sure, say “no thank you” to that idea. I suppose maybe there are some brave or foolish souls out there who’d love to be in the presence of actual ghosts, but I feel like at best they’ll create uncomfortable temperature variations, at worst they’ll, you know, kill me. I don’t find any of that appealing. So I’m going to stay in my (hopefully) not haunted house with my cats and my blankets and my books and my family and my tea. Thanks anyway.
What about you guys? Anyone have a braver soul than I do? Anyone have any experiences that would back up the existence of phantasmic beings?

It depends on the ghost. A ghost is pretty much the same person they were in life, only without a body.
I don’t really know anything about ghost lore – I’m too easily scared to want to delve in! One would hope so, though.
I don’t believe in ghosts as such, but I believe there are natural, verifiable things that make people feel that “something bad happened here, or it will.”
I may be the Voice of Reason. That’s a fun role to play. “It’s black mold. I just threw bleach on it. It’ll settle down in a few minutes.” If your body is not convinced, you should heed your body, not me. You might have a nastier reaction to a lower level of black mold than I have.
Very true. Also mold triggered my asthma, so I’m not going near that stuff if I can help it! Lol!
This makes sense. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by earlier.
Likewise!
I guess I’m just curious/adventurous to some degree. There’s a song called “Gloomy Sunday” that is supposedly linked to a series of suicides, and I listened to it just to see if it would have any effect. Nada!
I’m glad that one didn’t affect you!
I love the idea of being able to sense a vibe. I can’t quite get my head around how someone feels vibes, but I’ve certainly seen people I know just ‘know’ that a person wasn’t good, or that there was something ‘off’ about a situation that turned out to be true. Things like that really frazzle my brain.
Hmmm… I think “vibes” is usually noticing small things like body language or a threatening thing in the environment or something you hear or see out of the corner of your eye. Maybe you don’t notice it consciously, so then it makes you feel like you’re sensing something. But really you’re picking up on cues. That’s what I think, anyway. I’ve had that a lot – I had to learn to read people because I had social issues as a kid, and that’s how I learned to fit in. I learned to mimic, to read moods and intentions, to sense when someone was a threat, and to match how I was to what others wanted from me. I think that left me able to sort of sense things about people. I’ve also had a lot of times in my life where I’ve just had a feeling I shouldn’t go down a street or take a particular risk or go to a certain place or with a certain person. I always listened to those feelings, and I have no idea if they were right – because I figured best not to find out!
