BBC BOOK CHALLENGE


Who’s not a sucker for a good list? And this one is pretty darn good. You might have seen this circulating on Facebook (where I lifted it from). Apparently the average person will only have read six of the books on this list of books compiled by the BBC. I was pleased to discover that I’ve finished over 30 of them (marked) and read at least part of some others. (Updated February 2024 to add 3 1/2 more read in the past few years.)

    This is a cool list. I've read 8 of them…looks like I need to get on reading these like asap.

    Also, you've never read 1984 or Brave New World? Those are some great books!
