HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yes. Definitely. I don’t really have a schedule for reviewing books – back when I reviewed for publishers I don’t think I ever missed a review that needed to be posted by a particular date. But now that I am reviewing just out of interest, I will often put aside a review and not publish it for months. During times of high reading I’ll have more reviews than I need, and I’ll save the ones for older books to post when I need to fill the space. I think this one applies more to those who read on a publishing schedule, as that requires prompt reviews!
What about you guys? Do you read for publishers? Have you ever missed publishing a review on time? If you review just for yourself, do you have a schedule you set, and do you manage to stick to it?
The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly blog link-up that gives participants a different book-related question to ponder each week, and allows them to share their thoughts, find new blogs to follow and connect with new readers. The Hop was originally created by Jennifer at Crazy for Books and is now hosted by Billy at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. To see a list of upcoming prompts go here.
Yes…I read for publishers and am very good about having the reviews on time and have never missed. I was a business teacher so pretty organized. π
That is commendable! I don’t think I ever missed a promised review date for a publisher, but I definitely miss other planned posts and reviews that are just for me all the time, and if I hadn’t promised a particular date, I’d sometimes get behind where I wanted to be. Life!
My first one was this week… it was in drafts but I didn’t publish… it happens
Yeah, I feel like particularly when you’re doing this on the side of a busy life, it’s not always going to run like clockwork! Thanks for stopping by!
