BOOK BLOGGER HOP | READING GOALS FOR 2025

This week’s prompt: Do you have any reading goals for the new year?

I’ll be doing a whole Top Ten Tuesday post about this very topic on January 14th that I’ve already written, so I’m not going to get too detailed here. Suffice it to say that I’m not doing any hard and fast reading goals for the upcoming year. As usual I’ll post a couple of reading challenges out of interest but will not try to complete all of the challenges – I’ll just occasionally add any books I’ve happened to read that meet them. I’m planning to keep reading about ADHD – parenting and dealing with it myself – over the coming year(s) as it’s a never-ending learning process. And I’m planning to try to pay attention to whose books I’m reading – I need to make sure I’m reading at least somewhat diversely and continuing to support and learn about issues that are important. Other than that, I’m going to just try to enjoy reading as much as I can and choose books that will help me achieve that enjoyment.

What about you guys? Do you have defined reading goals this year? Are you one who thrives on lists and TBRs? Or are you a more vague planner like myself?

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly blog link-up that gives participants a different book-related question to ponder each week, and allows them to share their thoughts, find new blogs to follow and connect with new readers. The Hop was originally created by Jennifer at Crazy for Books and is now hosted by Billy at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. To see a list of upcoming prompts go here.
