  Another book-less week, unfortunately. Well, not entirely book-less, I just haven’t finished any.   Well, more time has gotten away from me and rather than reading, I’ve been watching BBC shows about plants, wildlife, nature, gardening and history (A House Through Time is a current favourite). I’ve also spent a lot of time out in the garden weeding and tackling two very large, very unruly rose bushes that READ MORE

  Well, this week I have had a lot going on, so I have been reading only a little bit and having trouble sticking with any one book. I’ve been dabbling in a few, hopping back and forth, and mostly putting down the book or pausing the audiobook to watch old episodes of Grace and READ MORE

  This week has been better than last week in terms of reading! We’ve had an interesting week – it snowed for the second time this year, which was beautiful to watch (it came on around 10 pm in huge flakes that drifted peacefully down beneath the streetlights).   Just Shelved          READ MORE

  It has been a very rough week. I went from finishing five books last week to none this week. Which actually isn’t that much of a shock, because things are… a lot right now. A member of my family has been poorly for a few months now, and it seems that they finally know READ MORE

  It’s been another surprisingly prolific reading week for me. I have zero control over my impulse to read – sometimes it dissipates completely, other times it’s insatiable. They tend to even out.   It’s been what felt like a long week, but a decent one. I’ve spent a lot of time out in the garden, and it’s finally starting to look like, well, a garden – instead of an overgrown thicket of weeds on the rampage. They really were poised to take over the neighbourhood! I have READ MORE
