LINK-UP | IT’S MONDAY! WHAT ARE YOU READING?

 

I haven’t finished any books this week, but I didn’t do a post last week so I do have one from last week to include! I’m still working on a few books, not sure which will actually get finished. My garden is starting to grow, though, so I think the lack of reading time is worth it!

I finally finished this last week, but didn’t have time to write a post! I ended up really enjoying the reading experience of this book. I’m still uncertain how I feel about all of the narrative choices and plot points, but I loved the character depictions, the sense of time and place, and how the setting played into the story. Beautifully written.

 

Currently Reading

 

     

I’m still working on The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, though I haven’t picked it up this week. And I started a re-read of Life Among the Savages because I hadn’t listened to the audiobook and I was curious how it would be to listen to. So far I’m enjoying it every bit as much as I remember, and some of the stories in it are even funnier the second time around!

I am still considering all of these as potentials for my next read, but also still not sure at all which (if any) I’ll actually decide to try next! I’ve also added a couple of new options, books I’ve been meaning to read for a while. It’ll all depend on my mood as to which I get to next!
