Is there anything better than book mail? That’s a bit of a trick question, because yes, there is – SURPRISE book mail! I received some awesome ARCs and review books from the wonderful folks at Penguin Random House this week, which will have me excitedly reading well past my bed time for the foreseeable future!
Quicksand – Steve Toltz
Ghostly – Audrey Niffenegger
Slade House – David Mitchell
I also received a pre-order I’m super excited about – the sequel to Christopher Moore’s hilarious A Dirty Job:
What about you guys? Did you get any exciting book mail this week? Visit any bookshops? Share your loot in the comments – and if you’ve read any of these, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga’s Reviews that’s all about the books we added to our shelves over the past week. Not necessarily books I bought – also includes books I borrowed, was given or otherwise ended up with. Weeks I don’t buy any books I’ll scramble around my shelves and find some I haven’t shared in an StS post yet!
So lucky to get the new Cheryl Strayed! I don’t even care that it’s a book of quotes I already know and love, I just adore her to pieces.
