This is an exciting post, because I’ve been meaning to write one on this very topic for a while! I feel like most of the books on my TBR shelves (hundreds at this point) are ones that I at least feel have the potential to be 5-star reads, and a lot of them I know will be. There are so many it’s hard to choose, so here is a very large selection of books I expect to get high ratings!
If you’ve read any of these let me know if they were 5 stars for you! Are any on your 5 star prediction lists? Any you’re interested to read?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
Catch-22 is one of my all-time favorite books!
I’m so looking forward to reading The Great Believers! I’m hoping that it’ll be five stars for me too 🙂 Good Talk was a five star for me when I read it last year. It was so good! Hope you enjoy all of these titles!
I hope these all turn out to be 5 stars for you! I think I’ll like Good Talk too. It gets awesome reviews.
I loved Less and hope you do too! I also really enjoyed A Tree Grows in Brooklyn!
These all sound great. I hope they all turn out to be 5 star reads. Happy reading!
I hope you find all of these to be 5 star reads.
The New Jim Crow was an excellent read. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
My TTT .
GO AHEAD IN THE RAIN is so good. SO GOOD. It made me feel all the feels. So much nostalgia. And the way Abdurraqib writes is just…sigh. It’s so good. There are a lot of five-star books on this list.
I haven’t read any of these but have a couple on my TBR. I hope they are great reads for you!!
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is on my tbr for this year, as well. Hopefully we both love it! 🙂
My Top Ten Tuesday
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I read it when I was young like the protagonist of the novel. I felt like I was the protagonist of the novel.
Such a wonderful list of possibilities.
Definitely THE GREAT BELIEVERS. It was my fav book of 2019. About starred reviews
