TOP TEN TUESDAY | BEST BOOKS I READ IN 2024

I’ve been lucky this year and I’ve read a lot of really fantastic books. The hardest part of this post will be picking which ones to include! Here are some of them:

Rescuing Ruby by Nicola Baker
Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune
Frank & Red by Matt Coyne
Bucket List by Russell Jones

Are We Having Fun Yet? by Lucy Mangan
Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister
I’ll Show Myself Out by Jessi Klein
The Fortnight In September by R.C. Sherriff

Pageboy by Elliot Page
The Great Unexpected by Dan Mooney
Between the Stops by Sandi Toksvig
Snapdragon by Kat Leyh

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
Meredith, Alone by Claire Alexander
Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree
Bookworm by Lucy Mangan

That was fun! It’s great to look back over some of the best reading moments of the past year and remember what I got from each of these books. I’d definitely recommend any that appeal to you!

What about you guys? Did anyone read any of these too? Which was your favourite book (or books) of the past year? Any here you sill want to read?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I’m drawn to Bookworm (no surprises for book bloggers, I suppose), and Are We Having Fun Yet? And turns out they are both by the same author! I like these recs a lot, so thank you! Glad these were so good for you and wish you a happy ’25.
