This week’s prompt is supposed to be “Books I Wish Had More/Less [Thing] In Them.” I couldn’t think of a thing, and my brain hurt trying, so instead I’m doing my own thing this week. I missed doing my mid-year round up at the end of June, which I remembered when many other smarter bloggers chose that for their freebie! Missed a trick on that one. So I’m doing it this week. Here are some of the best books I have read so far in 2024!
Literary Fiction

Graphic/Genre Fiction

Non-Fiction/Memoir:

I enjoyed each and every one of these books – for a variety of reasons – but I’d recommend any of them if they strike your fancy!
Over to you guys – which were your favourite books you read this year? Have you read any of these?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
A great looking list. I was late with my mid year wrap up. I’ve not done one of them before, but I saw other people do it and decided to join in 😂
Have a great week!

I’m in good company! 😊
I enjoyed reading Legends and Lattes so much that I gave my husband a copy for Christmas.

Yes! I feel like it has very wide appeal!
Legends & Lattes is one of my faves? Have you tried Bonedust & Bookshops?
I haven’t – is it as good?
The Great Unexpected looks like a book I’d love—I’m fascinated with friendships and how they change us.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enjoyable and had a lot of food for thought!
I really liked Remarkably Bright Creatures. I read The Soul of An Octopus by Sy Montgomery right after it. It was helpful in filling out what I learned about this remarkable creature.
M list this week is about weird reading habits and practices I follow.
Here is my list of favorite books from 2024 so far, created two weeks ago: https://headfullofbooks.blogspot.com/2024/07/ttt-freebie-best-books-ive-read-so-far.html
I loved Remarkably Bright Creatures – I haven’t read Soul of an Octopus yet, but I did watch a documentary called My Octopus Teacher, and that was fascinating! I saw your list – you were one of the bloggers I was referring to! 🤣
