Another of these ones where I have to Google and comb shelves to try and find some that fit! Made it to ten, but aren’t all great picks, I have to admit!
Well, that’s it for this week! I bet you guys found some better options than I did – what was your favourite pick this week?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
I couldn’t get this to post as a reply to your comment. If interested (no pressure) here is my review of How Hard Can it Be? https://hopewellslibraryoflife.wordpress.com/2018/07/16/review-how-hard-can-it-be-by-allison-pearson/
I’m so sorry – I keep having weird issues with comments, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix them! Thank you for this, I will definitely check it out!
You did a great job. And you thought of ten…well done!
Haha thanks! I loved your French version this week!
I’ve only read one – Mara Wilson’s and it was a good one.
Lauren @ Always Me
I never finished that one – I started, but put it down and never got back to it. Glad to hear it’s good! Might loop back around someday!
I couldn’t come up with any! I want to make sure I’ve read most of the books I include on my TTT lists or that they’re at least on my TBR, but I had nothing for this so I changed the topic.
My TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2021/07/06/top-ten-tuesday-323/
I commend your ambition! I don’t have the time to read nearly as widely as I’d like, so I feel like if I tried to do that there are so many prompts I just wouldn’t be able to do. I do wish it were possible though! Good luck!
Thanks!
I struggled with this week’s topic as well. I used cookbooks.

Love it!
WHEN WILL THERE BE GOOD NEWS? is a great title. I think this is a question a lot of us have been asking lately…
Happy TTT!

Haha! You’re so right!
Mindy’s books are a popular choice on the lists this week.
Here’s my TTT list.
Yes, they were some of the first I found when I went looking!
Shoot! I forgot How Hard Can it Be? Great work!
I actually hadn’t heard of it until doing this post, but it looked interesting!
Mindy Kaling has written some very funny books for sure! Did you ever watch her TV show, too?
My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-book-titles-that-are-questions/
Weirdly I actually never watched more than a couple of episodes. My introduction to her was through her books, and that’s the majority of my exposure. I just watched Late Night with her and Emma Thompson though, and I really enjoyed it.
Are men necessary? Wha ha ha!!! That can only be a fun read!
Clever picks this week.
Elza Reads 10 questionable book titles
I have yet to read it, but I think it should be interesting for sure!
I really liked Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It’s funny because I never actually read it. I read a couple other Judy Blume books as an adult, and they were okay, but I don’t think they can have the same impact as they would have for a young reader. I do keep meaning to read Margaret though, because I feel like it’s her most popular work! I’ve never heard anything bad about it.
Nice list! Judy Blume has cropped up on quite a few lists this week. The Steven Tyler book looks like it would be quite an interesting read too.

Yeah, I think a lot of my picks have been on lots of other lists – definitely not claiming to be an original this week!
I’ve seen Mindy’s books for years but have never really picked them up. Thanks for sharing!
I think I read two of them and enjoyed them, despite not knowing anything about her or having watched her shows. So worth checking out if you’re a fan!
Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal sounds like an intriguing book. My TTT Question Titles
Yes it does… I have yet to read it though! It has been on my shelf for ages!
I’ve been waiting to see someone use Mindy’s titles! I love it!
Haha! Those were some of the easiest to think of… some others I needed help with!
