TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOK TITLES THAT SOUND LIKE (ADULT) CRAYOLA COLOURS

I started this post off with the best of intentions, but it kind of slid into the gutter pretty quickly, and there was no getting back on the straight and narrow road once that happened! So these are some actual answers, and then some that would not be appropriate for the age of people likely to use said crayons, but tickled me too much to pass up including!

Fangirl would be the pink of the title; Gold Fame Citrus would be a yellow gold; American Dirt would be, you know, dirt colour; The Martian would be red mars dust colour.

Vampires in the Lemon Grove would, ideally, be a swirl together of yellow and red, but I don’t know if Crayola do that – so yellow or red; Twilight would be a dark purple-tinged blue; Tangerine would be light orange; Blood on Snow would be a true red.

Fifty Shades would be, obviously, grey – but a subdued boring one; Bitter Orange would be a yellowy orange; Silver Linings would be silver; Redhead By the Side of the Road would be an auburn colour.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot could be whatever colour you like – I just like the name – but probably the nice purple of the cover; New Orleans Noir would be black or dark moss green; Orange is the New Black would be prison jumpsuit orange; Concrete Rose would be the same red as the cover.

Malibu Rising would be ocean turquoise; The Color Purple would be that nice mauve of the shirt; The Red Parts would be crimson; Blue Nights would be that gentle blue of the cover.

Olive KItteridge would be a neutral khaki olive colour and From a Low and Quiet Sea would be that dark moody blue.

Okay, so these really wouldn’t ever really be Crayola colours, but I had fun getting creative! Which of my picks was your favourite? Which did you like best from your own post this week – or if you didn’t do one, what title would you pick?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
