TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKED….

This week is an interesting prompt – books for people who liked author x. I couldn’t think of enough books to do just one author, so I’ve picked a few different ones. I’m not sure if they’re all that on point, but they connected in my brain at any rate!

Isabel Allende:

Aimee Bender (in particular The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake)

Laura Esquivel (in particular Like Water for Chocolate)

Gabriel García Márquez

Rita Leganski

Karen Russell

Gabrielle Zevin (in particular The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry):

Phaedra Patrick (in particular The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper)

Jenny Colgan

T.J. Klune (in particular The House in the Cerulean Sea)

Jenny Lawson:

Debbie Tung (in particular Quiet Girl in a Noisy World)

Ruby Elliot

Okay, that’s it for my post this week. I’m not sure if anyone will find this interesting, but it was fun to think about. Hopefully there’s something in there that might attract someone’s attention!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
