TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS I FOUND BECAUSE OF THE BOOKISH INTERNET (AND YOU GUYS)

I love the bookish internet. Of all the online communities I’ve discovered, it’s the one that is the most interesting, diverse, welcoming and intelligent. I’ve not only found fantastic books through mentions and recommendations from online book sources, but I’ve also found readers I can follow who read similar types of books to me, who help me think about the books I’m reading differently, and who challenge me to read more, read more intimidating books and read a wider variety of books overall. I love this community, and though many of the bloggers I got to know the most in my early blogging days have moved on and no longer have their blogs, I still treasure the relationships I had with them and the new bookish folk I’m meeting all the time (that’d be you guys!). I’m grateful and lucky to be here. So here are some of the books I’ve found thanks to you all.

Books I’ve read in the past year based on online reviews and recommendations:

Books I’ve added to my TBR and can’t wait to read:

That’s it for me this week! I’d love to hear which books you guys may have discovered because of the bookish internet, especially through other blogs or BookTube/Bookstagram. Have you found any of your favourite reads through online recommendations? Any of mine on your list as well?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I feel like Heartstopper is definitely an online book community darling – and for good reason! I don’t have that many bookish friends in real life, unfortunately, so I definitely rely on the online community for my recs – but you guys do me proud!
