The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Malcolm X
The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez
These are books (or series, in the case of Lord of the Rings) that I read before I started blogging, and while I loved them all (well, except maybe Lord of the Rings because that was a bit of a slog, though I’m glad I read it), I wasn’t able to review any of them. I plan to re-read some of them, so might get them on here eventually!

The Lonely Hearts Book Club by Lucy Gilmore
The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods
A House in the Country by Jocelyn Playfair
These are random books I read and didn’t get around to reviewing, mostly for no good reason except I didn’t have super strong feelings about them or did, but just procrastinated for a bit too long!

Bookworm by Lucy Mangan
Snapdragon by Kat Leyh
Life in the Garden by Penelope Lively

Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
A Life in Stitches by Rachael Herron
These are ones I loved, or at least felt like I got a lot from reading, but didn’t review fast enough, and while I was left with very positive feelings towards them and a great frustration that they weren’t reviewed on my blog even though I loved them, I will have to re-read them before I can do so!
That’s it for me this week! And unfortunately these are only a few of the books I could have included this week.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
I really liked ANXIOUS PEOPLE. Several of these other books are on my TBR list.
Happy TTT!

So far I’ve liked all the Fredrik Backman books I’ve read, particularly the depth of the characters and the realistic portrayals of the internal struggles they experience. It helps me connect to the books and feel more emotionally invested! Thanks – you too!
I want to try The Lost Bookshop. Thanks for sharing and visiting my blog earlier!
I remember so little about the actual plot now, but I do remember that I enjoyed it when I read it! So I guess I’d recommend it?? Lol! Thanks for the return visit!
I struggled to write a few lines to post on Goodreads for The Lost Bookshop and Anxious People. Although I enjoyed both, I couldn’t think of more.

I have to admit that I’ve almost completely forgotten the plot for The Lost Bookshop. I have no idea why so little of it stuck with me, all I have is a vague mental image of a couple of the settings and a general feeling that it was good, but didn’t leave me feeling a huge urge to talk about it or anything. Frustrating how my memory is so iffy these days! I really enjoyed Anxious people and have more of a memory of that – I remember a couple of the characters and have a vague memory of the plot and some things I liked about it. But I don’t remember a single character name or the details of each life, or even their relationships for the most part. So not enough to review!
The Autobiography of Malcolm X is a book I keep meaning to request from the library. When I requested it years ago, I was only able to read some of it before it had to be returned. But what I read was quite interesting.
Thanks for stopping by earlier.
I read Malcolm X when I was in high school and starting to grapple with racism and its role in history right through to the present day. I didn’t know much about it back then, so this book was a really important one for opening up this area of experience to me. I remember it having a huge impact, though I don’t remember much about the actual details of his life. Part of why I want to re-read it at some point!
