All these amazing books on everyone’s lists are driving me crazy! There’s no way I’ll ever get to them all, but oh how I want to! FATES AND FURIES sounds especially good. So does the Allende book. I haven’t read either of Kaling’s books, but they sound hilarious and I loved her on The Office. *Sigh* So many books, so little time …

    Happy TTT (on Wednesday)!

I’m so excited for Slade House!!! I have an e-arc queued up and waiting 🙂 I really hope it’s as good as The Bone Clocks, because that blew me away at a time when I was kind of in a reading slump. I felt like Mitchell had such mastery of voice to keep switching POVs and even though you weren’t sure who was “speaking” in each new section, you knew immediately by the change in tone that it was a different character. Not something I’ve seen in many other multiple-POV novels when everyone is speaking in the first person and characters frequently seem to overlap!

Great list! I’m familiar with a lot of the titles you’ve listed here–Isabel Allende, Jonathan Evison, and Jenny Larson’s books, for example–but I don’t think I’ve added any of them to my want-to-read pile except maybe John Irving’s latest novel (and even there I’m not so sure if I did add it or if I just read the premise of the book). Happy reading 🙂
