Well, you all know me and TBRs. But I enjoy putting together lists, not so much of books I’m going to read, as books that glimmer in my mind at this moment. There are some upcoming and new releases I’m really interested in. I don’t know if I’ll get to any of them in the near future, but they are ones I definitely want to pick up when I get a chance. And, as always, I have so many books already on my TBR that I’m very excited to get to, and am more likely to this spring.
So here are some of the options I may pick up this spring. I’m particularly excited about the new Tommy Orange book – I loved There, There and can’t wait to read his new book. I also love the Thursday Murder Club series, and this newest book in the series is one I definitely can’t wait to get to.
What about you guys? Which books are you most excited to get to this spring? Any that are seasonal, or is your TBR only based on books you want to read regardless of season? Have you read any of these?
Top Ten TuesdayΒ is a weekly link-up feature created byΒ The Broke and the BookishΒ and hosted by Jana atΒ That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, goΒ here.
I’ve got the Amy Tan book and the James Patterson nonfiction book on my list, too. We shall see!
I loved Lessons in Chemistry! I hope you enjoy it, too.
Ooooh I’m glad to hear that! I’ve tried it before and couldn’t get past the beginning. Is it a slow start that picks up, or was that just me? Worth sticking to?
I also have Lessons in Chemistry on my TBR this week! Here’s hoping we both enjoy reading it.

Oooh exciting! I’ve tried it a couple of times and it hasn’t grabbed me, but I think I need to really give it a proper try. I’ve heard nothing but good things!
The Secret Lives of Booksellers and Librarians sounds wonderful.
Right? I came across it quite by accident but am completely intrigued!
I hope it delivers exactly what you want from it π
An interesting list. I’ve heard of some of these books but haven’t read any of them myself. I hope you enjoy them.
Thank you!
Class sure sounds interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I read Maid, her first book, and am curious to find out how things have been going for her since then!
That Backman book is one I want to read as well. I hope you love all of these.
I’ve started it and it is great – just waiting for my brain to be in the right place to really take it in. I’ve enjoyed his other books I’ve read so far!
This could be my reading list! I loved that Backman book. Caste is one I really want to read. I hope you enjoy all these.
Oh, I’m so glad to hear you loved the Backman! I started it and identify strongly. I put it aside on purpose to read at a time when I felt like my attention span could do it justice. Hoping that time comes up soon! I’ve started Caste as well and know it’s going to be fantastic. Really interesting ideas. Thank you, I hope you enjoy your TBR as well!
I just finished Caste – it is a must read.
Excellent! I’ve started it and was impressed by what I read, but I got distracted. Have the audiobook now, so going to give that a try!
A great looking list! I fail in my TBR lists but enjoy making them anyway π I have Last Devil To Die and Lessons in Chemistry on my list.
I hope that you enjoy them when you get to them!
Have a great week!

Haha yup, sounds about right! It’s fun to think about what I would read if I had that kind of discipline…. It’s like looking up yoga classes or hiking trails. And then not doing them. Last Devil to Die is actually up from my library, so that one I may very well try soon! Lessons in Chemistry I want to like, but I’ve tried it twice and so far it hasn’t sucked me in. I’ll try again though, maybe it just takes a bit of effort! I hope you enjoy whichever books you read this season – on your TBR or (more likely) not! Have a great week as well!
I only really do themed seasonal reading in winter. Usually this time of year is full lots of exciting new releases which end up making the bulk of my TBR.
Yeah, I don’t usually read by season except when my mood reading happens to coincide! I’ll have the same books on my summer TBR, and probably my autumn as well! I hope you enjoy whichever books you decide to pick up this spring!
My library has the audiobook of Miriam Margolyes’ memoir which she reads herself and I think that’ll be a really fun way to read it.
My Spring TBR
Yes! I listened to her first one as an audiobook and it was excellent. She’s definitely an acquired taste, but if you like her, well worth the read!
