So that’s my sort of maybe possibly probably not going to get to it TBR for this Spring. What about you guys? Have you read any of these? Do you want to read any? Which books are you most excited to read next?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
I hope you enjoy reading all of these when the mood strikes.

Thanks! Happy reading to you as well!
I’m a big mood reader, so TBRs are pointless for me. Hahaha. I do have both James and First Lie Wins on hold at the library.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Yes, I am the same! I like joining in, so I make the lists, but I know most of them will not be read in the stated time period, in fact I may not read any of them!
You’ve just accurately described what TBRs are like for me! I barely stick to them, but maybe I’ll actually read some books from it this year. First Lie Wins and Into the Uncut Grass look great. I hope you’ll love these books whenever you get to them 🙂
If you’d like to visit, here’s my TTT: https://thebooklorefairyreads.wordpress.com/2025/03/18/top-ten-tuesday-books-on-my-spring-2025-to-read-list/
I completely understand! Yeah… maybe I’ll read a couple… or one…. lol!
I loved First Lie Wins. I Hope you enjoy your Spring reading. Here’s my list: https://damppebbles.com/2025/03/18/toptentuesday-18th-march-2025/
That is great to hear!
Everything is Tuberculosis is on my TBR. It sounds so good!
Yes, I’m a little apprehensive though! I like his non-fiction, but the topic is a little… intense. I worked for a lung charity for a while, and it’s a scary prospect now that there are drug resistant strains that are growing more prevalent. Not thrilled with the idea that it could make a come back!
We have James in common 🙂

Yes! I am dragging my feet on it a little – I think partly as I’ve never read the book it’s based on. But I have enjoyed Percival Everett before, so I think I’ll enjoy it when I do get to it!
I have The Message here, and I plan (well, hope!) to reread James before book club this summer.
I just got The Message from the library (I had been waiting on the holds list forever) but of course, typical for me, now that I have it I’m not feeling it. I’ll try to get to it before the return date! Sigh.
I want to read Everything is Tuberculosis, too. Though I didn’t add it to my list because I am so far back in line at the library I may not get it within the three months. Ha!
I’m on the fence because of the subject matter, but I have enjoyed some of his previous non-fiction, so I’m curious! We shall see!
