TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS ON MY SUMMER 2022 TBR

This is, as you all know by now, a ridiculous prompt for me. I do not stick to TBRs. Like, ever. With one exception: judging The BookTube Prize. So these are the books I still need to read for this round that I absolutely will finish by the end of July:

Once I’ve finished those, however, all bets are off. Unless I sign up for a final round of judging (which I might do if I feel like my health is stable enough for me to be reliable), it’s all up to my mood. Some books I do have on my TBR right now and might possibly pick up are:

That’s it for me! Which books are you guys hoping to get to this summer? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do you know of any books coming out in the next few months that you’re counting the days to get your hands on? Share anything you want to say about summer reading in the comments!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

Thank you. Yeah I squeeze a book in for Mother’s Day in March, then my birthday then it is a while until Christmas. My partner orders books throughout the year ready for Christmas!

I am quite excited and hopefully I will try to get some of my own books read…

I never stick to my TBR lists either, and 2022 has been particularly difficult for reading challenges. Still, it’s amazing to see what kinds of books are out there, on what themes and so on. I’m intrigued by Things That Helped, and also by BookTube Prize (I’d never heard of it before!). Look forward to know what you do end up reading!

I feel exactly the same way! While it’s a bit of a downer knowing that no matter how much I read I’ll die with a huge pile of unread books next to me, on the other hand it’s wonderful to see everything that’s coming out, hear what other readers are loving and, more than anything, to see the topics and authors that are being released grow more and more diverse. Definitely a good time to be a reader!

Ah yes, I get that! (I’m a spring baby too, so also have a long gap between birthday and Christmas for that list to grow!). I hope you do manage to get to some impulsive reads in over the summer at some point – it’s a good time to go with your mood! I looked at your list though and there are a few books on there that are intriguing, so either way I think you’ll have a great summer of reading! 😉

Thanks! I’ve hit a bit of a stall right now, but have time to catch up. Too much stuff going on lately! I enjoy the sense of purpose though, and it’s good to make me read some books I otherwise likely wouldn’t. I’ve found some great ones this way!

I started it before I got into BookTube Prize reading and what I’ve read so far is absolutely excellent. Really interesting content and engagingly written. Definitely hoping I get to it soon! Good luck to you as well!
