TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS ON MY WINTER TBR

Over the years I’ve come to the conclusion that any TBR is going to be just a momentary snapshot of the books that come to mind in that moment. I never actually read the books on any list before moving on to others I had either forgotten about or not yet discovered. But they’re a tradition, particularly at turning points of the year, so here goes, yet again – a perfectly good list of books I’m sure are fantastic that I am highly unlikely to read in the near future.

Now, I really do want to read each and every one of the books on this list. But I can guarantee you that I won’t make it through more than one of them, if that, by the end of the year. That’s cool though, because maybe one of you will find a fantastic book in this list that you’d forgotten about and maybe you will read some of them. That works, right?

Now it’s your turn. Which books are on the top of your list of books you definitely won’t get to by the end of 2020? Any of these? Have you read any of my picks, and if so what did you think?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I’ve been working on Shadow King since it came out–it is OUTSTANDING but I can be moody about books. This is one book I must be in the mood for. I just read the Kindle Sample of Wintering and plan to buy it soon. Good picks! Enjoy!

Yeah, me too! So many books I’ve tried over and over and never gotten into, despite stellar reviews. Others I’ve tried a few times, not managed to connect to, then suddenly BOOM totally into it. It’s frustrating because it often feels like I have no control over what I end up reading!

That’s exciting to hear! I’ve tried to start it twice and didn’t get drawn in, but maybe I’ll go back and try a little harder. Which Backman book or books did you like the best? The only experience I’ve had with him is the radio play of Britt Marie Was Here, which I loved! Haven’t read the book yet, though!
