TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS WITH A UNIT OF TIME IN THE TITLE

This one threw me at first. I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never actually noticed how many books do have a unit of time (minute, hour, day, year) in the title. There are surprisingly quite a few just in the images saved to my blog! So here are the ones I could (lazily find) via searching those images.

Okay, that’s it for me this week! Which was your favourite book with a unit of time in the title that you found this week? Did any of my picks make it on your list? Have you read any of these?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I’ve actually only read a few of his books, but my Dad is a huge fan so I keep up with his releases as they’re usually what I give as Christmas presents! I do want to go back and start the Bosch series again though, as I remember enjoying it a lot!

Yeah, it’s one that I only found out about thanks to the publisher offering it to me back when I reviewed for one. I hate books where bad things happen to animals so much, though, that I usually just avoid them altogether. I made my contact swear to me that the dog didn’t have anything horrific happen before agreeing to read it (she assured me that he visited the office regularly and was perfectly healthy)! Very glad I did as it was a really sweet book.

I cheated by using my saved images in my blog and word searching – I started out with my shelves but it was just too hard as they’re mostly double stacked! Almost all of these are on there, somewhere, though.

I wouldn’t have if I’d stuck to searching my physical shelves. I did word searches in my saved blog images instead. Almost of all these are on my shelves, but I didn’t dig through all the double stacked shelves to find them!

Haha, yep, I probably would have been killed by a tsunami of falling books landing on my head! I keep up with what I’m reading on Goodreads, but not my TBR. It’s too transient and books are constantly coming in and going out. Good on you for keeping up with it!

Noooo! I have quite old books on my shelves and I never get rid of any of them so it stays fairly static except for the Blog Tour books and any books that I get at Christmas or Birthday.

I have a lot of really old books as well – the ones that are paperback or mass market that I just picked up to read once or because they were big at the time but I’ve since lost interest go. But the ones I’ve read and loved stay, along with the ones I haven’t read yet by authors I love and any I’m still excited to read all stay. I’m trying to be really selective about what I add now, and getting more on audio and ebook (and from my library’s digital content) if I’m not sure I’m going to love them or want to keep them, but still. There are a lot of books in the house!

Oh, trust me, if I’d stuck to books I’ve actually READ I never would have had anywhere near enough either! Most of these are on my shelves somewhere, but I’ve only read about half of them so far! So I’m impressed you actually had a list of books you’ve read!

I actually found it really hard at first too. In the end I word searched all the unites of time I could think of in my blog images and found books that way. I never would have come up with this many if I’d stuck to books I could find on my physical shelves. I do NOT have enough time or patience for that!

I haven’t read, or heard of, any of these except 12 Years a Slave and 7 Days in June, which is on my TBR. I had to resort to my Excel tracking list to search for titles I’ve read that had units of time……it was an interesting exercise. I jotted down a couple of your titles to research a bit further because they caught my eye like 10 Days in the Tub! Here’s my list: https://www.bookshelfjourneys.com/post/ttt-unit-of-time-in-title

Haha yup, I word searched in my saved blog images to find most of mine! No way was I tearing all the books off my shelves to find them! I’ve actually read both of those two and enjoyed them both!
