TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS WITH SPRINGY COVERS

I love this time of year. Well, to be more accurate, I would love it unreservedly if it weren’t for pollen and allergic asthma. But as it is, if my meds are working it’s a wonderful time of the year because it is the beginning of things growing and life coming out of nothing. It starts with snowdrops and continues on to daffodils and green shoots of leaves on trees and bushes. It’s a wonderful time of year, especially in my part of the year. Because man, does it ever become full of life over the next few months! I love gardening, so some of the books that most evoke this time of year and the hope it brings are books about gardening and nature. So here are some of my favourite gardening books, favourite books about nature (and a few I want to read) and books with spring-y covers!

Gardening Books I’ve Read or Want to Read

That’s my week! There are so many more books I could have included this week, there are so many beautifully bright covers with gorgeous flowers, cute baby animals, lush plants and filtered sunlight that brings the promise of summer heat. Though I suffer from horrible allergies, I still love the feel in the air when spring begins!

What about you guys? Which was your favourite pick for this week’s prompt? Did you include any of mine?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

Thanks! Oh no, hayfever is the worst! I hate not just being able to frolic amongst the flowers and budding trees, but it’s hard when it feels like they’re trying to kill you! Lol!

Haha! Thanks! We adore Monty – my kid used to listen to his audiobooks and podcast episodes at bedtime, and watching Gardener’s World used to be a favourite (not so much these days for my kiddo, though I still love it!). I hope your allergies improve!
