TOP TEN TUESDAY | BOOKS WITH THE WORD “LIFE” IN THE TITLE

This week’s prompt is “Books with the Word [Insert Word Here] in the Title” and I spent some time thinking about which word to choose. There were lots of options I considered – flower, girl, rain, mountain, body, quiet…. But in the end, I settled on “Life.” I liked the variety of different types of books that include the word, and that some of my favourites are among them. So here are a selection of books I’ve read, and books I haven’t.

Books I’ve read

A Life in Stitches by Rachael Herron
Life in the Garden by Penelope Lively
We Are Never Meeting in Real Life by Samantha Irby
My Mess Is a Bit of a Life by Georgia Pritchett

Life in Pieces by Dawn O’Porter
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
Still Life by Sarah Winman
Real Life by Brandon Taylor

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman
Life Among the Savages by Shirley Jackson
Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin

Books I haven’t Read

A Life Discarded by Alexander Masters
The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson
The Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante
The Life Impossible by Matt Haig

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
This Book Will Save Your Life by A.M. Homes
A Still Life by Josie George
The Shepherd’s Life by James Rebanks

That’s it for me this week! Which word did you choose this week? Anyone else choose the same one as me? Have you read any of these books? Can you think of any others with “life” in the title that you’d add to the list?
