TOP TEN TUESDAY | CHARACTERS FROM DIFFERENT BOOKS I’D LIKE TO INTRODUCE

This, potentially, is a fun one. If I can get my memory to work properly, which is always a bit of a crapshoot if I’m being honest. But here we go, let’s see what I come up with *cracks knuckles.*

  1. Hermione Granger (The Harry Potter series) and Matilda Wormwood (Matilda)
  2. Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables) and Cassandra Mortmain (I Capture the Castle)
  3. Gandalf (The Lord of the Rings series) and Voldemort (The Harry Potter series)
  4. Augustus Waters (The Fault in Our Stars) and Adrian Mole (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4)
  5. Trixie Belden (The Trixie Belden series) and Veronica Mars (from the book series and TV show)
  6. Ove (A Man Called Ove) and Scout Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird)
  7. Helene Hanff (author of Q’s Legacy and 84, Charing Cross Road) and A.J. Fikry (The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry)
  8. Hazel Grace (The Fault in Our Stars) and Lenni (The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot)
  9. Harriet the Spy (Harriet the Spy) and Mary Lennox (The Secret Garden)
  10. Dicken (The Secret Garden) and Gerald Durrell (Author of My Family and Other Animals) and James Herriot (author of All Creatures Great and Small)
  11. Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary) and Mark Watney (The Martian)

That’s all I can think of for today! Did you have any similar pairings? Any from your list you’re particularly proud of? Share in the comments!

Yeah, Anne Shirley would probably enjoy their company too! All three I’ve wished I could befriend since I was a kid. Yeah, one hopes Gandalf would be able to take Voldemort down more easily!
