I think titles are so important. Not only do they tell you something about the book – its topic, tone and genre – but they also grab attention. I can’t count the number of times I’ve picked up a book just because I liked the sound of the title and ended up discovering something wonderful. Here are some of the titles I absolutely adore, and hopefully one or two of them will make you discover a surprising new favourite too!
Some of these I’ve read, others are on my TBR, but every single one won me over in large part because of their title.

I’ve read a few of these. Swamplandia! is definitely one I picked up because of the title and cover. Now I’ve read all of Karen Russell’s work except for her newest book.

Wow, SO MANY incredible titles in this post! I’m not usually a fan of long titles but some of these are just dazzling 🤩Definitely find them extraordinary too! I actually have The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake on my list this week too 😊

I haven’t read any of those, but you picked quite a few intriguing titles. I like the hedgehog one the best I think.
I was tempted to read SWAMPLANDIA just because of the title. My TTT
