It has been two plus years since I last set foot in a bookstore, but I think I vaguely remember them. I do have some favourites, most in other places than where I live. So I’ve got a few pictures to share from some of my travels!
New Orleans
Faulkner House Books
Crescent City Bookstore
San Francisco
City Lights Bookstore
Victoria, BC
Munro’s
Vancouver, BC
Pulp Fiction Bookstore
That’s all I’ve got for this week! I do have other favourite bookshops – here in my town there’s Albion Books, 32 Books and Macleod’s. In Chicago there’s Myopic Books and The Armadillo’s Pillow. In Victoria there’s Russell Books. But I don’t have photos, so it is what it is.
What about you guys? Which bookshops are your favourites? Have you been to any of mine?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
Love a bookstore cat! I’m hoping to make it out to Victoria soon and will definitely stop in at the bookstores
Me too! I’ve met a fair number of them over the years! I hope you have a lovely trip and that you do get a chance to pop in – Munro’s is such a wonderful building, as well as having a great selection of books!
Munro’s looks familiar. I’m pretty sure I visited it when I was in Victoria, although we walked in and out of tons of shops, so it’s hard to remember! LOL.
Happy TTT!

It’s so beautiful! Hopefully you get another chance to visit it at some point!
All very impressive! Alexander Books looks like my sort of place. Hope you are feeling better.
Here’s my list for this week: https://speedyreadercom.wordpress.com/2022/10/04/top-10/
Thank you! Alexander Books is so wonderful – and huge, three floors if memory serves!
A great list. It does seem strange that it’s been years since visiting places. The UK has been open for a while so I have been out and about. It is scary with the number of cases currently though.
Have a great week!

Yes, it depends on circumstances and location for sure. My family in the UK are mostly back to normal, but we aren’t because f medical issues, so ita a huge range I think! Somw of these I saw while traveling anyway though, so unlikely I’ll go back.
They all look cool. 🙂
