Short and sweet this week – in contrast to the topic! Here are the longest books on my Goodreads “read” shelf:
I Know This Much Is True – 897 pages
The Mists of Avalon – 884 pages
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – 870 pages
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – 759 pages
Breaking Dawn – 756 pages
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – 734 pages
The Fountainhead – 727 pages
A Little Life – 720 pages
A Son of the Circus – 704 pages
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – 652 pages
The Cider House Rules – 640 pages
I’m a little surprised that so many of these are books from series – I guess because they didn’t feel long when I read them, since they were books for young readers. Here are a few other books I expected to end up on this list:
Americanah – 589 pages
Purity – 576 pages
Frida – 528 pages
The Robber Bride – 528 pages
The Autobiography of Malcolm X – 527 pages
So that’s it for this week – I’d love to know if you’ve read any of these, and which are the longest books you’ve ever read?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
All the Harry Potter books from this list were on mine as well!

I have not read any of the novels on your TTT post! They look like really good reads. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to get around to reading a few of them!

I’ve read many of these, but I’ve never read Frida or Purity or the John Irving books.
I’ve read a lot of these! Harry Potter and I Know This Much Is True made my list, too. I had no idea that Americanah was so long. I need to read that one.
I never really thought about Harry Potter books being long. They didn’t feel long when I read them. I’ve never read Mists of Avalon, but I’d like to. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Great list! Harry Potter made my list this week as well – they were my first introduction to ‘long’ books as a kid! Happy reading!
My TTT: Longest Books I’ve Read!
Breaking Dawn has made it onto so many lists this week haha. Didn’t have enough pages to make it onto mine but I have read it.
