Okay, so there are more, but I figured I’ve overshot by way more than enough at this point! There are always so many upcoming releases that I’m dying to get my hands on, and it’s impossible to narrow it down. But I think if I had to pick the ones I’m most excited to read, they would be: Armada; Go Set A Watchman; Everything, Everything; Avenue of Mysteries and The Japanese Lover (I’ve already got an ARC of The Gold Eaters, otherwise that would be in here too!). I’m also dying to see the cover of The Rest of Us Just Live Here IRL – it glows in the dark! Yep, that’s right. GLOWS.

Which books did I miss? Share the books you’re impatiently waiting for in the comments!

Everyone, Everyone is raving about Everything, Everything. And I am SO excited to read it myself. Also, The Rest of Us Just Live Here is on my list as well. Oh my goodness. It sounds so amazing!

Great list! I picked up a few of these books at BEA and I'm currently reading Armada (so good!). I didn't know Christopher Moore and Isabel Allende had new books coming out. Thanks for bringing them to my attention!

  3. Barb says:

OMG! I have to have Secondhand Souls. I love Christopher Moore, especially Dirty Jobs. I may have to reread it though before moving on to this one as it has been so long. I also didn't know Allie Brosh had a new book coming out. Between her and Jenny Lawson, I don't know who makes me laugh more. Awesome list!

  4. M. says:

Every year I feel like it's the best year for book releases ever… then another year comes around and something amazing happens – like Harper Lee comes out with a new book, or I discover that three of my all-time favourite authors (Ronald Wright, Isabel Allende and John Irving) are releasing new books and it just gets even better!

  5. M. says:

Excellent taste! 😉 I'll pop over and visit your blog too – always looking for readers and bloggers with similar taste! I have to admit, the glow in the dark cover sold me on this particular book. I mean, I might have checked it out anyway, but now I have to own my own copy!!

  6. M. says:

I'm so excited for pretty much all the books coming out this year – you're right, totally spoiled! I actually just stumbled across Lawson's new book yesterday – I didn't know there was a new one coming out. Talk about a wonderful surprise! She's a goddess.

  7. M. says:

I cannot wait for Armada. Release has been pushed back a couple of times, so I feel like I've been waiting forever! I hate to admit it, but I actually haven't read Mindy's first book yet, so I'm hoping I find time for that before the new one comes out. I've heard nothing but good reactions to Everything, Everything, so I'm eagerly anticipating getting my hands on a copy!!

  8. Lindsay says:

Great list! We've got a couple of the same books — “Armada” and “Furiously Happy.” And “The Little Paris Bookshop” will be on my summer to-read list post next week. It seems like we've got similar tastes so I'll definitely be checking out the titles you listed that I'm unfamiliar with! Also, a glow-in-the-dark cover sounds pretty amazing!

  9. Katie McD says:

I'm really quite excited for Armada! Many of these made my list as well. Somehow I managed to forget Go Set a Watchmen, so I'm not sure my mind can be trusted.

  10. Rosy says:

I've just started reading 'Everything Everything' and so far it's fantastic. So excited to see Jenny Lawson's new book on your list, I love her writing! There are so many fantastic books coming out this year, we're being thoroughly spoiled!

  11. Milka says:

ARMADA! I cannot wait for that one.
Also, I am super excited about Mindy Kaling's book. She is a goddess and a queen.
Everything, Everything is definitely worth a wait – I read a review copy of it and yeah, it's pretty spectacular 🙂
