TOP TEN TUESDAY | RAINY DAY READS

Seasonal reads are different for everyone. Some people love to read books set in warm temperatures when it’s winter because it transports them. Others save up snowy backdrops to match their real-life weather conditions. Some people like to read scary books or thrillers when they’re stuck inside so they’re completely absorbed in what they’re reading and unaware of the drizzle. Others like to read books that feel cosy and comforting. I’m the latter. I love books that make me feel like I’m snuggly tucked into a warm blanket with a cup of hot tea when it’s rainy out – which I often am. So here are some of my top picks when I need a book to give me a hug.

I’d love to hear which books you love to curl up and read on a rainy day – or which type of books you prefer!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I’ve wanted to read Under the Tuscan Sun before. I lived in Italy for three years… even though I’m glad to be living in the US again, it would be kinda cool to revisit places that I’ve been to before like that.

I like so many of the books on this list that I feel like I need to go out and read all the books on your list that I haven’t yet read. In particular, I feel led to finally obtain and read Simon. I think I shall.

Thank you for sharing these with us. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my list.
