TOP TEN TUESDAY | SCARY BOOKS I’D READ IF I WEREN’T A SCAREDY CAT

I can’t do horror. I can handle violence, but if there’s even a hint of creepy, I’m out. So there are definitely books I’d love to read if I had the constitution for them! There aren’t that many though, because since I can’t handle scary stories, I don’t tend to file them away in my brain the way I do with serious TBR books. Here are a few I do remember:

I tried to read the last two because I was kindly sent them as ARCs by the publisher, but I just couldn’t handle them. Which has stuck with me, because it feels like a failure in a way just picking them up at random and DNFing them wouldn’t have.

Are there any you are too scared to try? Have you read any of these? Are they disappointing or am I really missing out? Are any of these not actually all that creepy?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

This is a great list. And, yeah, The Woman in Black was pretty scary. I’d definitely recommend avoiding the film since the book was too much for you. It was well done, but it also make me just about jump out of my seat in a couple of places. 🙂

    My TTT.
