I don’t read very many series these days, and the ones I do are usually mysteries, and if I’m honest they tend to meld together in my memory a bit. So choosing a favourite book out of those series wouldn’t be possible. But there were series I read when I was younger, or series for younger audiences, and I do definitely have favourites there. Here are a few:
That’s it for me this week! Were any of my books or series on your list this week? Any you remember loving from when you were a young reader?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
What a nostalgic list! HP is on my list today too. I also loved Nancy Drew as a kid, although it’s been a looonnnggg time since I read them, so I can’t remember which one I liked best. I should re-read them as an adult and see what I think.
Happy TTT!

Yeah I don’t read many adult series, so most of the ones I can remember were from my childhood and teen years!
I loved Trixie Belden!! I’ve been thinking about rereading them. I also really loved the Adrian Mole books!
I do too – I tried re-reading one a few years ago and it didn’t hit the same, which was a little disappointing. But in my memory I have such wonderful experiences with them! I adored Adrian Mole. I didn’t understand all of the social commentary, but it worked on multiple levels so I still loved them!
I can’t see your post since they’re all images and I’m a screen reader user 🙂

Thank you for pointing that out to me – I will try to write out titles as well as images going forward!
The Hobbit is my favorite of Tolkien’s work too
Yes, I’m glad I read The Lord of the Rings, but it was a lot of work at times, whereas The Hobbit was just a bit of a faster-paced story.
Trixie Belden was a series of books I loved as a kid. I actually preferred her to Nancy Drew.

Oh me too, 100%! Nancy annoyed me.
I don’t read many series these days. I loved the Harry Potter series and I’ve read The Hobbit but not the rest of the series.
Have a great week!

Yeah, I read some series, but I don’t seek them out and often am not interested in them because of the commitment. (Except with my kid – kid’s series are much better!)
I don’t know if I could pick my favorite Heartstopper book. Great list!
I didn’t even try – I just went with the first one because it’s easier! Lol!
