Oh man, I’m going to pretty much just do this based on the bookshelf that is right in front of me as I type this, because there are SO MANY. I’m hugely attracted to books based on the title, cover or description. I will either be interested or not in a book immediately, if none of those elements do it, I will require convincing. If they do, it will take a lot to dampen my enthusiasm. The following were almost entirely a combination of all three, or at least the title and cover.

Alright, over to you guys! Do you choose books based on the title and/or cover? Which books stand out as being the most obvious chosen this way on your TBR? Have you read (or heard of) any of my picks?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
Great list of books! When I am looking at books, a title and a good cover will draw me in. But if I don’t enjoy the synopsis, the book will go back on the shelf no matter the cover.
When you get the chance, I hope you come over and check out my post: http://readbakecreate.com/15-book-covers-that-scream-summer/
I totally agree! I do have a hard time if I don’t love the cover though – particularly if I order a book and am excited about it and then it arrives in a different edition than I was expecting and the cover sucks or the binding is cheap. It totally turns me off! I mean, I’ll still read it, I’ll just be a bit grumpy about it the whole time. 😉
The cover for Bluets is really eye-catching!
My TTT
I agree! I had actually already heard good things about it before seeing the cover, but the cover definitely clinched it!
I love it when books I already want to read have good covers!
OMG, I love the cover for Bluets. So pretty.

One edition of her other book, The Red Parts, has a similar cover, and I love them both!
I bought my best friend I Hate Men for her birthday just because of the title! 😀 Thought she’d find it funny and enjoy the odd looks she got as she was reading it on the train to work – which she did!
My TTT.
HAHAHAHA!! That is AMAZING!
I love a simple provocative title… was I Hate Men any good? And I’ve just looked Bluets up on Goodreads and it looks amazing!
This is my TTT this week, half covers and half titles.
I have to admit I have not yet read either one! They are both quite slim books though, so they would be very quick reads!
