There are always a thousand books that I absolutely, definitely want to read next. The problem is that I can’t read them all at once, so I have to choose one and then the rest just sort of form an endless queue. I’m writing this a bit ahead of time, so I’m looking on my shelves (physical and virtual) right now to see which titles pop, but who knows which others will pop out at me in between! Currently this is a selection of the thousands.
That’s it for me this week! Have you read any of these? Any you’d recommend that I get to ASAP? Any on your TBR? Any you’d forgotten about that you’re now excited about all over again? Share your thoughts in the comments!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.
I loved Flight Behavior, Lessons in Chemistry, and Caste. I hear Braiding Sweetgrass is excellent. I hope you enjoy these!
I’ve heard great things about all of these – I started Caste and loved it, so I’m looking forward to getting back to it! Thank you!
Oh, I loved Flight Behavior. Barbara Kingsolver has such an engrossing way of writing. I have found Demon Copperhead on the sale shelf of library, so of course I had to add it to my collection. I guess I should add it to my list for this post?
That’s great to hear! I need to pick it up soon. I loved Demon Copperhead, despite not expecting to. I thought it would be pretty dark and heavy given its focus on addiction, but it was surprisingly humorous and hopeful. I’d definitely recommend it, if for no other reason than (as you pointed out) her wonderful writing!
