WEDNESDAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE | A BOOK I WANT ADAPTED

Finally, an easy one! I wouldn’t have found this one as easy even a couple of weeks ago. I probably would have found a few, and done my typical thing of giving you guys a list for a one-item question. But not this week! I actually have an answer!

Yep, I have one book this time. I just finished reading this book at the time of writing this post, and I adored it. It’s the most enjoyable reading experience I’ve had in years, and is one of the few things that has genuinely made me feel a little less despair. But not only is it a wonderfully enjoyable read, it has so much scope for a wonderful adaptation. The setting could be rendered beautifully (the gardens! The island!) and the characters could be just enchanting. The special effects could make this come to life in most spectacular fashion, and everything wonderful I saw in my head while reading could actually exist in the world. Not only that, but the messaging in it is so timely. With its themes of love, the importance of childhood dreams, and fighting for what you believe in, this book is just everything awesome all rolled up into one. I would love to see this on the big or small screen.

What about you guys? If any of you have read this book, do you also think it would be a great one to adapt? Which book or books did you choose for your post this week?
