WEDNESDAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE | A SPORT I WANT TO TRY

HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, this is hilarious. I’m pretty much the least sporty person you’ve met in your life. A sport for me is vacuuming the house or weeding. I don’t do sports, partly because I have a back injury that means I can’t do things that will have me falling about willy nilly, and partly because, well, I just don’t want to. That said, there are some I would want to do – if I ever wanted to do sporty things. It’s  short list, but it’s all about boards – snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing and stand-up-paddleboarding. All of those look so cool, but also really hard for someone who has a hard time staying upright on solid ground! Some I don’t ever, ever want to do are tennis, cross-country skiing and golfing. Mostly because they seem very boring, or very hard, or both.

What about you guys? Are you sportier than I am? Which sports to you want to try? Which do you already enjoy?

I’m not sporty at all because of hip and knee issues – but I do enjoy watching skateboarding (and used to be very bad at it when I was young) and I absolutely love tennis

I hear you – I had back surgery and am not exactly in good condition for sporty things! I went through a Wimbledon phase when I was about ten and visiting relatives in England. It lasted until I went to a tennis club with them and realized how incredibly hard tennis is to learn! I admire tennis players, but have no illusions about ever being able to hit a tennis ball myself!
