This prompt brings up some very obvious answers. Cleaning the toilet. Cleaning the tub. Dusting. Cleaning the kitchen (which I seem to do 5,000 times per day). Emptying the dishwasher. Loading the dishwasher. But because this is a blogging prompt, I’m going to focus on a blogging one.
I would love it if I could find a way to make it so that when I insert a book cover image, it automatically linked to either the Goodreads page or my review of the book. I hate having to copy and paste links over and over and over again for the same books. It drives me absolutely nuts. I feel like I spend at least a quarter of my blogging time doing this.
What about you guys? What’s one thing you wish you never had to do again?
Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge is a blog hop hosted every Wednesday by Long and Short Reviews. The weekly prompts range widely, including both book-related and non-book-related topics. The idea is to get bloggers to interact, share a bit about their lives and connect with other bloggers. Click here for the list of upcoming topics, and visit here to join in the fun!
This is a good one!
I am in the middle of doing it right now. I’m miserable.
You’re welcome! I’ll keep your email address for future reference if this happens again. I also followed you on Twitter!
Thank you! I followed you back – I haven’t been using Twitter as much lately and am woefully behind on following people, I should have followed you ages ago!
I’ll go with that. I hate messing around with links.
Hahaha! You get me.
Yes, book cover images should totally automatically link to the Goodreads page! It’s tedious to have to make those links over and over again.
Oh, and you should know that I haven’t been commenting on your site recently because your Goodreads challenge banner was overshadowing your comment box. I couldn’t click through or figure out where else to contact you to tell you about it! It seems to be fixed now, though, which is great. 🙂

Aaaaaah! I’m so sorry! I’ve been having some major issues with my site lately. I’m self hosted, and the customize button for changing things on the site was being updated to some new format that I couldn’t figure out. I installed a plug-in to bring back the old version, but then widgets that were on the side of the page suddenly started appearing on the bottom of the page (and, apparently on the comments box!). I kept getting rid of it, and then it kept coming back. I’m trying to check it carefully every time I make any changes, but honestly I don’t know how to definitively fix it. Feel free to email me (email is raincityreads@gmail.com) or tweet me or something if something like that happens again so I can try to fix it! I’m so sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for letting me know!
