WEDNESDAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE | BOOKS I DISCOVERED ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Well this is a tricky one, because it’s nearly all of them, especially if you’re including blogs and videos. I used to spend an inordinate amount of time watching BookTube, and my TBR is comprised mostly of books discovered via these readers and the blogging community I follow (i.e., all of you!). Some I found at the library or through book prizes, and occasionally some were given to me as gifts. But yeah, the majority came from you guys and the lovely folks in the videos! But I guess I can share a few I discovered recently online from other amateur readers!

Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton
Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett
Everything Is Tuberculosis by John Green
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna

We Were Never Here by Andrea Bartz
Now It All Makes Sense by Alex Partridge
Dirty Laundry by Richard Pink and Roseanne Emery

The first four I can’t remember exactly where I heard about them, but I’m sure it was online and could have been blogs, videos, Instagram etc. But the last three I’m more sure I discovered thanks to social media sites, as I think I saw all of them on Facebook and/or Instagram. The first was a Reese’s Book Club pick and I think I saw it on her feed, the latter are by people I follow on these sites as they make content about ADHD.

That’s it for me this week! Do you guys find books to read thanks to social media? Do you include blogs in that? If not, what’s your favourite source for book recommendations?
