I don’t really do weekend getaways since the kid arrived. But if I did, it would be simple. I’d find a nice little AirBNB where I’d have quiet and privacy. I’d find some great take out in the area. I’d carefully select my reading material. If possible I’d also locate a nearby bookshop to explore. And I’d find some comfy reading spots, preferably outdoors if I was able, and I’d sleep in late, have coffee or tea on the balcony, read until I got tired, take a nap, order food when I got hungry and wander to the bookshop when I needed some exercise. Super simple, but sounds like the height of luxury to me!
What about you guys? What would you do if you had a weekend to yourself and could do anything you want?

Goodness, as an introverted book lover, that’s my perfect weekend too. 🙂
Haha! I figured I’d find some people who thought so too!
That sounds like a nice peaceful weekend.
Doesn’t it just. 🙂
I absolutely love your idea! It sounds ideal.
Thank you! I’ve been spending some time dreaming myself there…
That sounds so relaxing!
Right?!
