I don’t know if it’s because of being an only child, having a busy mind, lots of interests, or not a lot of free time, but I very rarely get bored. I’ve got chores to do, a kid to hang out with, books to read, TV to watch, hobbies I enjoy… there’s always something I wish I could be giving my full attention to, but I can’t because I have to put another load of laundry in. Right now, if I didn’t have anything else to do, I’d probably spend the whole afternoon working on a crochet project or trying to finally finish that scarf I’ve been knitting for two years. I’d also love to take a whole day to work on my blog. I like being ahead with my posts, but I’m not at the moment. I enjoy organizing small collections of things (not the whole house, mind), so I’d enjoy just organizing my drawers or a closet or something. Though I’d probably get distracted and give up halfway through. Or I’d just curl up on the sofa with a cup of tea and read a book. That will never get old!
What about you guys? Do you find yourself getting bored often? If so, what do you like to do to get yourself out of feeling bored?

I love crochet! I do it during meetings to keep me focused – but perhaps it’s an example of doing it while bored?
That’s a great idea! I find it’s a helpful fidget type of thing to do with my hands.
I’m similarly minded. I rarely get bored because there’s always something to do. I also like to be ahead with blog posts and other writing, which takes up pretty much all of my time.
