Hmm. I don’t have a lot to report. I’m still trying to get over a nasty cough that seems to have been doing the rounds since December – apparently it’s being referred to as the hundred day cough, and I can see why. Not the funnest experience I’ve ever had, but luckily I seem to be on the mend which I’m happy about. I am beginning to look forward to the start of spring planting season, and will be starting to sew some seeds soon. I’m also still plugging away at my newest hobby – crocheting stuffed toys for my kiddo. I did a rather large unicorn, and am working on a smaller version in a soft yarn.
Other than that I recently finished unpacking my office area (other than one box but I’m ignoring its existence as I don’t know what I’m going to do with it yet) and have organized my desk drawers so I no longer have to keep ordering more erasers or white out because I cannot find them anywhere. (Seriously, I have found, so far, eight erasers. EIGHT. This is beyond ridiculous.) I also hung some blinds (it’s street-facing) and put up some of my kid’s beautiful art work. I’m enjoying having a tidier space to be in when I’m writing or on my computer, and spending a bit more time in here.
That’s about it for me – my life is relatively small and quiet! What about you guys? Anything more exciting to report?

Good luck with that cough! How annoying. Coughs can be so wearying and sleep disrupting. Congrats on getting unpacked and settled in.
Yeah, it hasn’t been a party so far! Seems to be getting a bit better, so fingers crossed it’ll continue to improve. I hope you have a good week!
I don’t know, I think you might be downplaying how big a deal getting your creative space organized can be. I’d love to have a full room that I could organize for myself. (My writing desk is in a closet; the jokes practically write themselves.) Anyway, good on you for moving forward, even if it is just in the small things. The small things are sometimes the least trivial of all!
Haha! Thank you. I have a room that’s sort of half a room and a loft that’s our spare room area/playroom, so it’s somewhat shared, but definitely fits what I need. I agree – small steps are often the hardest to get to in a weird way! I hope you’re having a great week too!
Good luck with the garden, crocheting, and office organizing…and especially the writing!
Thank you!
There’s always one box that stays packed forever, isn’t there? Sounds like you’re making your office an amazing place to work 🙂
Usually more than one, if I’m being honest! It’s getting there. It’s small so doesn’t have space for a comfy chair which is a bit of a bummer, but it’s got a good desk space and a nice window, so it works!
That awful cough has been making the rounds in the schools here. Hope you feel better soon! I’m getting to do a bit of a re-do on my office here, as well. Sounds like you’re a tad ahead of me there, though. 🙂
Oh man, it’s such a bummer! I hope you manage to sidestep it! I’ve stalled with my office – it’s better than it was but absolutely not tidy yet. Ha! I hope you do get a chance to work on yours as well, it does feel nice!
Definitely time to think about planting.. we’re doing the same. And, I’m excited for you about your work space. Mine is in a corner of my den (which I love), but we have a bedroom with floor issues we need to finish repairing…then it’s going to be a guest room/studio for my painting. We’ll get there.. lol.
I’m excited for growing things, but apprehensive about how bad the pollen season will be – we shall see! Thank you! It’s still got some mess that needs sorting, but it’s a big improvement. I hope that you are able to get your floor fixed soon so that you will also have a space to work creatively in!
