WWW Wednesday #20

http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/2013/11/06/www-wednesdays-nov-6/

It’s time for this week’s WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Should Be Reading blog (head over and check them out!).

This link up asks three questions

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll be reading next?Β

Here are my WWW answers!

What did I recently finish reading?

I tried to read this book ages ago, but I got distracted and then part of me wanted to save it because I just knew I was going to love it. It’s nice to have some books you can rely on to be excellent for when you really just need a great read. This book was that for me. It’s got a wonderfully magical tone to it and the characters are written to jump right off the page. I drank in every word and was left wanting more from this amazingly talented author.

What am I currently reading?

I’m still chipping away at Roomies, though it isn’t impressing me that much and I’m a bit disappointed. To balance that out I’m also reading All My Puny Sorrows (based on Karen’s excellent review, which you can read here), and I’m really enjoying it. It’s about a sad topic, but it’s beautifully written.

What do I think I’ll be reading next?

I’ve got a few books on my horizon, but most likely it will be one of these. The Night Circus is another I’ve been saving, and I keep coming back to it with no small measure of curiosity. Kissing is a review book that I’m looking forward to.

What are you guys reading? Share in the comments! //<![CDATA[ var sc_project=10144299; var sc_invisible=1; var sc_security="82f610c9"; var scJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://secure." : "http://www."); document.write("”); //]]>

    That's interesting – I've heard really great things about it, but I've only read the first few chapters. I love the writing – it transported me right into the story – but I did get a sense that the story wasn't going to be what I expected. And I wasn't sure how I felt about the whole ring-binding-challenge-bet-whatever thing. I could definitely see it going either way!

    I hope you enjoy these books! πŸ™‚ I'm not the biggest fan of The Night Circus, the writing is beautiful, but I didn't seem to connect with it. I hope you enjoy it more.
