It’s time for this week’s WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Should Be Reading blog (head over and check them out!).
This link up asks three questions
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
Here are my WWW answers!
What did I recently finish reading?
This is the fourth in the Zak Darke series of thrillers about a teenage super-spy. In this one, our hero travels to Africa to track down an old enemy, free some child prisoners, and avert a coup. Lots and lots of action!
What am I currently reading?
I got this one for my birthday from my brother-in-law, and I’m really enjoying it so far. It does have some parallels to Ready Player One, but I have heard that those fall away as the plot deepens. It’s definitely one that those who grew up playing ’80s and ’90s video games will really connect to.
What do I think I’ll be reading next?
I’ve actually already started this one, but I think I’ll be finishing it after You. I like her writing style – I was pleasantly surprised at the emotional depth she attains, even though she was such a young writer. There’s definitely some precocity here, and it’s obvious that she had a gift with words. I’m torn between wanting to devour it in one sitting and wanting to save it since there will never be more.
What about you? What have you recently finished? Share in the comments! //<![CDATA[ var sc_project=10144299; var sc_invisible=1; var sc_security="82f610c9"; var scJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://secure." : "http://www."); document.write("”); //]]>
